Extended Case Manager: Full Case Flexibility, Beyond the Operating Model

One of our most highly anticipated features is now live - and it’s one many of you have asked for.

Until now, Mosaic let you build multiple operating model cases. With our new extended Case Manager, you can now flex assumptions across the entire deal, from financing to transaction structure to special situations.

This means you can define full Management, Base, Upside, and Downside cases with different inputs across:

• Financing assumptions – e.g., leverage levels, interest rates

• Transaction assumptions – e.g., entry/exit multiples, fees, management rollover

• Special situations – not just toggle add-ons, dividend recaps, or earnouts on or off, but change their individual assumptions case by case (e.g., different tuck-in EBITDA multiples, recap amounts)

With the enhanced Case Comparison Tab, you can now see all your inputs across scenarios in one centralized view, giving you complete visibility into what’s driving differences in returns, structure, and outcomes.

How It Works

To achieve this in Mosaic, simply click the split icon next to any splittable assumption to open a modal, as shown below:

From there, you can enter different values per case or unify them across all cases with a single click.

Use the full Case Manager view to see every assumption across all scenarios in one place, making edits and review seamless.

This is a major unlock for scenario planning, IC prep, and flexing deal dynamics without duplicating models. Built in direct response to what we heard from users  and already making an impact.
