Mosaic Announces Custom Operating Model Templates

Mosaic now lets you build your own custom operating templates and create tailored, reusable frameworks that better reflect individual users' needs. This is especially relevant for verticalized teams--industry groups can share pre-built templates, ensuring standardized builds only need to be created once.

To build a template, simply create a new operating model (select "Manual" if building within an LBO or a DCF), add whatever segments, expenses, or adjustments needed and then click "Save as Template" in the "Settings" menu on the lefthand side of the screen. Templates can also be saved by clicking the download button to the right of the "Revenue" line item. Templates may be stored privately within an individual user’s account or shared across the broader organization.

Once a template has been saved, it will appear within the "Template" section when creating a new model.

From there, users can quickly select from either a previously saved custom template or one of Mosaic’s prebuilt operating model frameworks.

Cash Gains Can be Sensitized and Compared Across Cases

1 - Mosaic can now sensitize cash gains directly within the platform. This adds further flexibility to the Sensitivity tab and ensures teams have access to a full range of sensitivity analyses.

2 - Cash Gains can be compared on a case-by-case basis within the "Case Comparison" tab. Note that the Case Comparison tab will appear once more than one case has been added within the "Op Model" tab.

With the addition of Cash Gains, users can seamlessly model the impact of varying cash gain assumptions across scenarios, improving the ability to assess valuation sensitivity, compare outcomes, and build more robust investment cases.
